Started her career in the advertising industry in Los Angeles, worked in the marketing and human resources industry in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Tokyo, and then as a marketing manager in the chemical industry, and Givaudan (Singapore), one of the largest fragrance houses. After 20 years of living abroad, in 2017 she relocated to Japan. Currently, in addition to the scent business, she is a full-time employee of an IT company as well as a facilitator for #IAmRemarkable powered by Google.

2018 年より日本法人コンシューマ向けレノボブランド事業戦略を統括。Gaming ブランド”LEGION” 立ち上げ、Gamingサービスや教育アプリケーションのサブスクリプションなどの新規事業をリード。Incubation project、CSR、D&I の日本法人コーポレートイニシアティブリーダーを兼務。
Aya Yaginuma joined Lenovo 13 years ago, and is now serving as Japan Lenovo Consumer Strategy Director. Ms. Yaginuma has been proactively driving consumer growth for the past 7 years. She is known as the expert of new business development and business operation planning and management. In her current role, she launched Gaming subscription service and cloud-based programming application in 2020.Prior to Lenovo, Ms. Yaginuma held progressively responsible positions in GTM strategies at Microsoft and Dell as business manager.Ms. Yaginuma shared passion for corporate initiatives, such as D&IE, incubation projects and CSR. She proactively plans grassroots activity in STEAM Educations, such as IT career workshop for gender minority students and kids programming workshops in public Library across the country. She enjoys museum tour with her husband in her spare time.

Joined Kodansha in 2002. After working in the advertising sales department, women’s magazine (with, VoCE, FRaU) editorial department, digital and marketing department, and mi-mollet editorial department, she became the human resources manager in 2022. She is also a mental care psychologist and is currently broadcasting a podcast, “Midnight Reading Session – Chatty Library”.
