The Era of Self-Care: Why This, Why Now?
In a world that measures success by speed and output, the modern leader understands a deeper truth: Our performance is only as sustainable as the care we invest in ourselves. For the global woman navigating the complexities of career, family, and personal growth in Tokyo, self-care has evolved. It is no longer just an occasional luxury or a momentary escape—it is a strategic necessity. It is the art of 「自分を整える」—the intentional act of tuning our minds, bodies, and spirits to remain resilient, clear, and inspired.
Creating a Blueprint for Belonging At CAREhER, we believe that the ultimate form of self-care is Belonging. True wellness is difficult to achieve in isolation; it flourishes when we find a community that reflects our values and supports our journey. We have chosen the Tokyo American Club as our sanctuary for this dialogue—a space that represents the intersection of global perspective and local excellence. Here, instead of just hosting a luncheon; this year, we are designing an “Architecture of Belonging,” where every conversation serves as a blueprint for a life lived with purpose.
A Synergy of High-Performance and Heritage Why do we stand alongside Porsche, Ralph Lauren? Because these brands represent the pillars of a well-lived life. From the precision and drive of Porsche to the timeless elegance and heritage of Ralph Lauren, and the innovative movements, these partners understand that to move forward, one must be perfectly aligned.
Together with our visionary speakers—Reina (PDS Hotels) on the future of wellness travel, Reiko McNish Sato on mindful entrepreneurship, and Chihiro (AMEDIO) on the the Biological Reset and future of health care—we invite you to redefine your standard of care.
This is your invitation to pause, to realign, and to find your place in a community of women who are moving the world.
This is the era of the sustainable self. This is your era to thrive.

Tiffany Chou | Co-Founder & CEO, CAREhER
Community Building Strategist & Global Explorer
Tiffany Chou is a dynamic entrepreneur and community strategist dedicated to redefining how global-minded women connect, grow, and lead. With a unique cross-cultural upbringing between Northern California and Taipei, Tiffany has spent over a decade navigating the complexities of the APAC business landscape. Her professional journey has seen her spearheading DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and talent strategy campaigns for Fortune 500 tech giants across Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo.
This international trajectory—from the innovation hubs of Silicon Valley to the high-stakes markets of Southeast Asia and Australia—shaped her vision for CAREhER. Tiffany recognized that for modern leaders, success is no longer a solitary pursuit; it is built through an “Architecture of Belonging.” She has grown CAREhER from a visionary idea into a premier cross-border community of over 2,000 women leaders, providing the digital resources, meaningful networking, and social wellness needed to thrive in an interconnected world.
A sought-after speaker and inclusive leadership advocate, Tiffany believes in the power of 「自分を整える」(Totonoeru)—tuning our collective energy through community to create a sustainable, purposeful future for women in business.
Panel
The Sustainable Self —「しなやかに自分を整える」:Wellness, Ambition, and CommunityHow global women lead in the new era of self-care.
Behind every great leader is a carefully designed foundation. At this year’s CAREhER Tokyo Summit, we go “Beyond the Hustle” to explore how three visionary women are redefining success through the art of 「自分を整える」—the intentional act of tuning one’s life for purpose and endurance.
Our panel brings together three distinct perspectives on what it means to belong and how to sustain high performance in a fast-paced world:
-
The Sanctuary of Space: Reina Matsuo (Plan・Do・See / NEWLOCAL) takes us on a journey from global luxury branding to the heart of regional Japan, exploring how the environments we inhabit and the travel we choose act as the ultimate “reset” for the soul.
-
The Sanctuary of Identity: Reiko McNish Sato (AMATERAS) shares her bold mission to modernize heritage, discussing how embracing our unique cultural roots and inner confidence allows us to build an “Architecture of Belonging” within ourselves.
-
The Sanctuary of Ritual: The Science of Longevity Chihiro Takenoshita (AMEDIO) bridges the gap between biotech and daily life. Rather than focusing on beauty products, Chihiro explores skincare as the “entry point” for health literacy. Drawing from her background in the pharmaceutical and anti-aging biotech fields, she discusses the essential “infrastructure” of self-care—using evidence-based rituals to maintain physical and mental clarity in a high-pressure society.

Reiko McNish Sato | Founder & CEO
The Architect of Identity and Modern Heritage
Born in Tokyo and raised in Canada, Reiko McNish Sato is a visionary entrepreneur dedicated to redefining Japanese identity for a global era. After returning to Japan as a “kikokushijo” (returnee), she founded AMATERAS at just 22 years old, driven by a mission to bridge the gap between Western confidence and Japanese heritage. Her work began in fashion—fusing traditional motifs with modern silhouettes—but has since evolved into a multifaceted empire spanning podcasting, community building, and spatial design.
Reiko’s philosophy of 「自分を整える」 is centered on the courage to be different. She believes that true self-care is the act of claiming one’s own opinion and “dreaming bigger” in a society that often favors conformity. As the co-host of the Tokyo Young Boss podcast and leader of a 3,000-member community, she is building an “Architecture of Belonging” for the next generation of women—proving that when we embrace our unique cultural roots and lead with intention, we light up the world around us.

Reina Matsuo | Hospitality & Regional Revitalization Strategist
The Future of Space and Sense of Belonging
After graduating from Keio University, Reina joined Plan・Do・See (PDS), one of Japan’s leading hospitality groups recognized for its destination-driven luxury concepts.
She spent six years in the United States overseeing new hotel openings and leading nationwide PR and brand strategy, contributing to PDS’s global expansion. Upon returning to Japan, she continued to shape inbound marketing and new luxury launches within the group—working at the intersection of space, storytelling, and international perspective.
In 2023, she expanded her focus to regional revitalization through NEWLOCAL, engaging in projects in Nozawa Onsen and Oga. Her work reflects the philosophy of “Architecture of Belonging”—creating environments where people, whether in a global city or a quiet village, can rediscover their center.
For Reina, space is not simply physical—it is emotional infrastructure. She believes that the environments we inhabit and the journeys we choose shape our inner clarity, and that when we intentionally design the spaces we move through, we create room to realign, reset, and simply return to ourselves.

Chihiro Takenoshita | Founder of AMEDIO
The Architect of Ritual and Scientific Restoration
With a background in pharmaceutical sales and an MBA from Keio University, Chihiro Takenoshita is a leader at the intersection of healthcare and wellness. Currently a doctoral candidate in Public Health, Chihiro founded AMEDIO to bridge the gap between rigorous science and the daily emotional needs of modern women. Raised in a family of pharmaceutical pioneers, she carries a legacy of innovation, yet her personal mission is deeply human: to help women navigate the physical and mental toll of a “super-aging” and high-pressure society.
Chihiro’s philosophy of 「自分を整える」 is rooted in the “restorative ritual.” For her, skincare is not about vanity; it is a vital healthcare practice—a moment to reset the nervous system and reclaim one’s skin health from the stressors of urban life. Chihiro represents the “Science of Care,” showing us that by grounding ourselves in evidence-based rituals, we build a foundation of resilience that allows us to lead with clarity and grace.
